Just like the law of gravity, it is universal and it is working all the time for everyone regardless of their nationality, religious belief, age, and gender. Whether you believe in it or not, it is working for you or against you depending on your type of thoughts.

You see, every achievement you have, every man-made thing that exists in the world, every action you take started with a thought in mind.

For instance, if you’re enjoying a pizza at a pizzeria, you must have had the thought that you’re hungry. Feeling hungry led you to ask which food you should choose to satisfy your hunger: the hot and delicious pizza came into your mind. Then, you start to think of how to get pizza. Should you order it or go to a pizzeria by yourself? You choose to go to a pizzeria and now you’re enjoying a delicious, hot pizza.

Powerful thoughts attract similar thoughts that inspire you to take action to achieve your goal. You will get answers to every question that lead you closer to your destination. You start to see opportunities that are hidden before you as you’re now conscious of them. Having a thought will bring to you ideas, events, and people that help you to turn your dream into reality.

Your thoughts, belief, and gratitude is the key ingredient to manifest dream using the law of attraction. We’ll talk about them more in detail later. For now, let’s learn how the law of attraction came into being.

A Brief History of The Law of Attraction

The Law of attraction has been a teaching of many religions and civilizations from ancient times. But, it became evident to people only in the 19th century when many philosophers wrote books on it.

In the early 19th century, Phineas Parkhurst Quimby, an American clockmaker, mentalist, and mesmerist started the New Thought spiritual movement which heralded the science of the law of attraction in modern time.

The term “Law of Attraction” was used by Helena Blavatsky, an occultist, and philosopher in her book for the first time in the late 19th century.

Prentice Mulford, author and pioneer in the New Thought movement lay down most of the universal laws of attraction.

In the 20th century, Napoleon Hill’s Think and Grow Rich, Norman Vincent Peale’s The Power of Positive Thinking, You Can Heal Your Life by Louise Hay, work of Abraham-Hicks put the law of attraction to the next level.

Rhonda Byrne, in her movie The Secret (2006) modernized the idea of the law of attraction and made it popular. Many celebrities like Oprah Winfrey, Jim Carrey, Will Smith, Arnold Schwarzenegger are real-life examples of the fact that the law of attraction is real and it works.

How does the law of attraction work?

It has now been scientifically proven that the law of attraction is real things, not some concept followed by few people.

Scientists who study Quantum Physics say that everything in the universe is made up of the same subatomic particle vibrating at different frequencies. It means every creation in the world has a vibration of different frequencies.

Your thought is also energy traveling into the universe in the form of the wave at different frequencies. When frequencies of thought match with frequencies of other material, it will be manifested in your world just like you get a specific station when you tune a radio at specific frequencies.

You can read a ton of books on Quantum Physics to satisfy your mind, but you don’t need to know all the processes of how laws of attraction work to get benefit from it. It will only spin your head and never get you results if you spend too much time on it.

You don’t need to learn the nitty-gritty of how it works to use it to manifest your dream. It is not your job to think about how you get what you desire, just focus on what you desire and when you want it to be manifested in your life.

How to use the law of attraction to get everything you want?

While it is simple to understand and practice the law of attraction, it is essential to follow the correct steps in the right order to get everything you want without being frustrated and overwhelmed.

Here is the step by step process to use the law of attraction:

Vibration and Being

Everything in this universe is made up of subatomic particles vibrating at certain frequencies. Simply put, everything is energy.

Like energy attracts like energy is the ultimate truth behind the law of attraction.

Your thought, too, is energy vibrating at certain frequencies. When a thought is repeated then it becomes dominant and powerful which goes out into the universe to attract things with similar frequencies and brings them into your reality.

Your emotional state and vibration influence your thoughts. Thoughts mixed with a positive strong emotion are powerful enough to attract similar energy. Not all thoughts can create your reality. Only thoughts that inspire you, motivate you, and change your emotion can bring your desire into reality.

For instance, if you want to attract money, you should feel wealthy and prosperous first. You should believe that you already are a rich person that helps to think you like a rich person and eventually, you’ll attract wealth in your life. How you think and how you feel about your goal is important for manifestation.

But, you might ask, how can I be wealthy while I have no penny in my name? Well,  it is quite simple. Act as if you’re a wealthy person who already living the dream life.  Your subconscious mind doesn’t know the difference between your imagination and reality.

To raise your vibration, do what you love to do, be thankful to the universe for everything that you have, and ask empowering questions.

“How can I feel good now?” Ask questions like this whenever you caught yourself feeling low. You’ll get some answers to change your being.

Your mind and body are connected and influence each other. When you change your body’s physiology, you’ll change your thoughts and feeling too.

People who are sad and depressed have a different posture than happy and enthusiastic people. Change your posture and physiology like a happy person immediately to feel happiness.

Changing vibration and being is crucial as it helps your thoughts to amplify and travel into the universe to attract similar energy. Think of your vibration and feeling as the foundation to bring your dream into reality using the law of attraction.

Burning Desire(Asking)

After raising one’s vibration and feeling, you should have a burning desire that is inspiring and motivating.

There are wants and wishes and there is burning desire. Whatever things you’re asking the universe to manifest should be a must to have not a good to have things.

Remember, your desire will be manifested sooner or later so don’t have any doubt about it. Doubts have killed the dreams of many people which could have given the world new knowledge, new inventions.

Maybe you want wealth, maybe it is better health that you’re looking for, or maybe you’re interested in finding your love of life.

No matter what your dreams are, ask yourself why you want them. Find you’re why.

When you find your reasons for your dream, you’ll be able to connect with it emotionally which will help you to manifest it quickly.

For instance, you want to earn more money so that you can spend your time with your family and doing what you love to do. Your goal is not to have a lot of money, what you are asking is the freedom that money can give you.

Besides having a burning desire, it should be clear and specific. 2-Weeks vacation in Bora Bora next summer with family is more clear and specific than simply asking for a vacation.

Pro tip: Unfortuantely, the law of attraction doesn’t differentiate between positive and negative thought.  That means you’ll attract negative events in your life if you’re constantly having negative thought. For instance, if you’re afraid of getting laid off, you’ll get fired from your job withing weeks or months even though you don’t want that event to occurs. You see, the law of attraction doesn’t care what you want or not, it simply manifest your thoughts into reality.

Belief, Faith and Trust(Believing)

You have got a burning desire or goal that you really want. Next, you should believe in the universe for receiving the gift from it. It is the most important part of the manifestation journey. Without faith, belief, and trust, none of this works for you!

You may be holding negative beliefs about yourself, your goals, and the universe. Having an unsupporting belief system will not help you to achieve your dreams. A belief system that you’ve now is an old subconscious program created by your own experiences over the years and the teaching of people whom you admire. Our culture and family play a vital role in creating the belief system.

Most people have a limiting belief system because they grow in families and societies where people are not supporting and encouraging. If you’ve any negative beliefs about the law of attraction and your goal, change it using affirmation and positive self-talk.

Your belief system determines your level of success. For instance, if you’ve never earned a million-dollar and now you’re asking to have it within three months, it is obvious that your mind won’t believe it. So, you won’t take any action to achieve it because you know it is not possible anyway.

Even if you show you that it’s possible and a lot of people just like you are earning more than a million dollars a month, you won’t believe it. Why? Because you’ve no personal experience about it.

The good thing about belief is that it can be changed. To change your belief about the law of attraction, I suggest starting experimenting with small goals. Use the law of attraction, to manifest small goals that are believable and easily achievable such as seeing two white butterflies. As you get success in manifesting these small goals, your belief about the law of attraction will soar up so that you can now manifest big goals that are intimidating and not believable.

Allowing and Receiving Gratitude is The Key(Receiving):

Next, you have to allow and open yourself to receive gifts from the universe.  Most people have created blocks for success and abundance even if they want them badly.

Having a block for manifesting dreams and desire means you’re thinking, acting, and believing that you’re not worthy of success. It means you tell yourself that you don’t deserve good things in your life.

Allowing and receiving is a difficult part of the law of attraction because your old programming comes between you and your goal.

To achieve any goal, you need to become a person, different from your present self, who can handle success well. You should take certain actions to change your mindset and behavior first to attract success in your life. But, your old subconscious programming prevents you from a makeshift from your old self to your new self.

Let’s say, you’ve desired a car and you are doing everything right in the process of manifestation; visualization, affirmation, asking empowering questions, and meditation. But when you find no car in your garage, you begin to doubt and start to feel the lack.

It is easy to feel lack instead of abundance especially when you’ve never been successful receiving wealth. If you feel lack and fear of failure, which most people do, you’ll think negative thoughts that prevent you to manifest. The feeling of lack creates thoughts, focuses on lack and you’ll, without a doubt, manifest lack.

To allow and receive the gifts for the universe using the law of attraction:

  • You need to trust the process of manifestation and the universe
  • You should feel positive and expect positive results from the action you take.
  • Feel gratitude every day about things that you already have and things that you want to manifest even though you don’t have them yet in reality.

However, I accept the fact that it is difficult to feel gratitude when things are not going well in your life. In such a situation, ask simple questions similar to these:

  • How can I be grateful for my life?
  • Why am I so lucky?

Feel grateful for the air you’re breathing, food, and home that give you security and comfort. Focus on small things in your life that are easy to forget yet give happiness and comfort to you.

Feeling gratitude brings creates a positive vibe and energy that influence you thought to manifest more to feel gratitude for.

In short, don’t create a block to receive abundance from infinite intelligence. Have faith that you’ll receive during a time when it is easy to quit the law of attraction as you don’t see any result from your practice.

Methods to Manifest Anything in Your Life:

Daily Affirmation

Affirmation is a positive statement that you repeat to yourself again and again daily to change your inner voice and programming.

You either have a positive inner voice talking to you or a negative one. If you listen to your inner voice, you will have an idea of what you feel about yourself.

For instance, you do something wrong, what voice do you hear inside talking to you? “I’m such an idiot!” or “I made a mistake which is okay because it is part of learning.”  Find what’s your inner voice about yourself and your goal. If you have any negative self-criticizing talk, change it with the positive affirmation.

Create simple and clear affirmations related to your goal in the present tense. And, say these affirmations loud in the morning after you get up from bed and at night just before you sleep.

Asking Empowering Questions

If you want better answers, ask better questions.

“Money comes to me easily and generously.” There is nothing wrong with this positive affirmation but your mind doesn’t easily believe it because you know that it’s not true yet.

That’s where the asking empowering question comes into play. Empowering a question trick mind by presupposing the positive part of the question is already true. It programs your subconscious mind more effectively as your conscious mind doesn’t criticize such a question and accepts it easily.

Some empowering questions:

How is that I’m so confident?”

“Why does everything always go my way?”

“Why am I so comfortable with money?”

Notice how easy it is to believe the fact that you suggest your subconscious mind with the empowering questions. Create your own empowering questions related to your goal and find answers frequently to create a subconscious program that supports you to achieve your goal.

Power of Imagination and Visualization

Visualization skill is the key to manifest whatever you want using the law of attraction. It creates mental images that impress your mind in the same way as things that you experience in the reality.

In another word, your mind doesn’t know the difference between things that you visualize and things that you see in the real world. Visualization makes you believe that you’ve already achieved your dream and it shifts your mindset and thought pattern.

To visualize, you have to relax your body and mind first with breathing techniques like you do in meditation, then remember your burning desire with belief that you’ll get it no matter what, and next visualize your desire become reality using all senses.

Advanced Manifestation Techniques:

Advanced manifestation techniques dive a little deeper into your subconscious mind to alter your reality.

Here are some of these advanced techniques for you if you’re interested in applying them in your journey:

Two-Cup Methods

In this technique, you’ll use two cups, one filled with water and another empty, label your current situation infilled glass and your dream another one.

Now think about your current situation and how you feel, and then change into positive feelings that you’ll have once you achieve your goal. Maintain that positive vibe and pour water into an empty glass and drink till the last drop.

Emotional Freedom Technique/ Tapping method

In this technique, you tap your fingers on certain areas of your body, while speaking phrases and affirmations to yourself which is quite “goofy” looking when done. However, it is very effective to suggest your subconscious mind as it releases the energy block and at the same time impress your mind with positive phrases.
